Cannabidiol (CBD) was presented to her as an ingredient in 2014. She has spent hours and hours researching and understanding CBD, along with many major and minor cannabinoids, in how they are relevant, essential and complimentary in skin care. She has received certifications in Understanding the Endocannabiniod System, Cannabinoids for the Professional, Cannabis for the Consumer, Cannabis Master Professional as well, holds a Key Employee Badge from the MED of the State of Colorado. Though cannabinoids are her current focus, she maintains they are one component to overall wellness and is constantly researching cannabis and complimentary natural ingredients. She continues to operate a thriving skin care practice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado where most treatments are corrective skin issue focused. As well, she works in continuing to educate professionals on many aspects of the industry.
Cressman has consulted for several skin care lines, including successful CBD brands, under the umbrella of Ella Cress Skin Care. Along the way, she has met and created quality relationships with a network of professionals who share a passion for honest and accurate information. Dispelling fact from fiction is one of many obstacles faced in the cannabis infused product industry. With so much information (and largely mis-information) to weed and sift through, unveiling accuracy in a time of quickly evolving information and technology is a huge task. There, a need was presented and thus, a comprehensive consulting group of qualified, integral professionals from every aspect of the industry were gathered and the HHP Collective was born.
“Because of proven and ongoing research, we know the many benefits of CBD, which include topical skin care application. As esthetics professionals, it is our responsibility not only to design and formulate thoughtful, effective products, but to educate and increase the understanding of exactly how these botanical extracts are integral in communicating with our body’s systems. I look forward to a time in the very near future, when the word ‘phytocannabinoid’ rolls off the tongue as easily as ‘antioxidants’ when discussing corrective, preventative and anti-aging skin care. Skin Care is not just my passion, but my life.” – Ella Cressman
